A time to connect with other foster parents and kinship families
You will receive a $25 check for each remote session attended per household
You can earn up to 24 foster parent training hours toward DHS certification
All DHS-certified foster parents and kinship families can join!
Family Law Education Program
The Family Law Education Program was created to help families navigate through restructure and be more prepared to co-parent, so they can better support their children's physical, social, emotional, and behavioral well-being. The session will discuss ways to build or maintain a positive relationship with the co-parent and will provide a brief overview of the legal process and parenting plan.
The Family Law Education Program is now offered as a Zoom class for parents in Deschutes County experiencing family restructuring such as a separation or divorce.
Nurturing Parenting
Central Oregon parents with school age children from 5-12 years old. Learn positive parenting strategies and parent with less stress and more FUN!
Fulfills mandated client requirement.
This is an ongoing class, meaning you can join at any session. After 12 consecutive sessions, you'll receive a certificate.
