ABCs of Parenting
A 7-week program for families with children entering Kindergarten.
This is a family style class where parents and children all come to the class. This program is designed for the adjustment of starting school, a time when young children learn skills that promote success as they grow. Parents learn positive discipline techniques and ways to encourage their child through good communication while reducing family stress.

This class helps parents build long lasting and healthy relationships with their children. Explore new tools and techniques to make parenting young children easier and more enjoyable. There is always something new to learn when parenting kids 0 to 8. This class helps parents discover new skills and techniques to make parenting easier. Parents will gain a greater understanding of child development, stress management, setting realistic expectations, age appropriate discipline and positive communication. Staying Connected to Your Teen
A 5-week program for parents with children ages 12 to 17
Parenting adolescents and teens can be challenging. Join other parents with youth ages 12 to 17 to learn about strengthening family bonds and connections during the teen years. Topics include improving family management skills, decreasing family conflict, and effective strategies for better communication and limit setting.
