Computer-Based Parenting Education

Parenting Wisely

Parenting Wisely is a self-administered, computer-based program that teaches parents specific skills that:

How it works:
Parents watch family scenarios based on the above subjects and are asked to choose solutions to the challenges on the screen. The program usually takes one to three sessions at Family Resource Center to complete. If completed all at one time, parents are asked to devote up to 3 ½ hours on the computer.  Parents receive a certificate stating they have completed the program.  There is a $20.00 class fee.

Interested parents are asked to call Family Resource Center at 389-5468 and have Mary McClure or Vicki  Ertle schedule a mutually convenient time. Parenting Wisely is scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
